Is it normal to crack your brothers skull with a club

so heres the story
me:17 brother:23 and half-retarded but pretty powerful
we got into fight wih my half-retarded(serious)brother then i found a club and i hit him in the head with club he was bleeding really bad and i ran out of there then my dad told me when he was back home he saw him sitting in the doorway and crying
