Ok, so every time i take a dump, i cover my ears.... ive been doing it since i was little cause....... well...... i guess Its pretty self explanitory why i dont want to hear anything. Is this normal?

I do that too, I also prefer the room really dark. I have no idea why but when I do it seems like I can relax way more and then it jst falls out! If I need to do one in public loos (which I always try to avoid) I cover my ears (because I guess you cant turn the lights off) and without doing that, the crap just wont come out!

I've never heard of this, and I don't believe it is common, but it does make alot of sense, so normal.
I'd say this is normal, we all have things that disappeal and appeal to our vision and hearing. If that sound displeases you, then do what you can to make you more comfortable. I myself, do not do this... but we all have little habits.
not normal. you should be proud of the chocolate missle firing out of ur starfish. i even enjoy occasionally standing on the toilet and letting it drop into the toilet and splash really loud.
