I'm baffled as to why people don't COURTESY FLUSH their poo as soon as it hits the water? Alone or in public, why would you want to marinate in your own stink? FLUSH IT!
I often poo, flush, wipe, flush, relax a bit, wipe again, and flush.
Does the COURTESY FLUSH MAKE SENSE?

That's a new version of the courtesy flush. You could nickname it the OCD version.
My idea of the courtesy flush was for the next person that uses the restroom, not me. I always flush again after it's been flushed just to make sure it isn't clogged.

@Joe: take it easy there -- unless you take your clothes down to the river and beat them clean with rocks and sand, and use only hygienic products that you personally extract from your tea tree garden, you may want to COME DOWN OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE -- someone else needs it's resources.
Normal or not , it is thoughtful. Wouldn't expect any thank you notes however !
