Sounds like you guys are having a pretty rough patch. Afte 3 years and a lifelong commitment, you're not ready to break up really but you're not sure what you're doing either.
Sit down and have a nice long talk and see if you can't work out these problems. If the two of you are truly at an impasse it might be better to split, because trying to be broken up and living together must make things crazy confusing.
We've been "broken up" for about a month - with little to no change, except we fight less. We've been together 3 years and this year was really stressful - we fought all the time - broke up once a month, this time seemed very final. We call one-another ex's but are still enamoured and kind and still being good partners, and living together.. IIN?
