Its normal for someone with depression/anxiety issues, such as myself. I finally spoke with a therapist after years of sadness and hopelessness and i went on a mild anti depressant anti anxiety (zoloft) and learned some breathing techniques . just stay away from benzos whatever you do :)

What's wrong with benzos? I went on SSRIs and they were fucking horrible!

    Look up "candida" or "candidiasis".
I've had them and thought I was so depressed until I realised I had them.
It took me until I was getting sad or angry about everything, and then lost

I wouldn't know how to advise you on actual depression since mine was down to my hormones behaving strangely because of candidiasis.

It might not be that but it's worth looking into, since it is extremely common but rarely recognised as the cause of a lot of mental and physical health problems.

No this is not normal at all. This is a sign that many things in your life are wrong. You need to talk about everything going on inside your head. Share your thoughts and fears and dreams and doubts and scream and cry if you have to!!! You need to relieve all this stress. Depression can kill you. When you're depressed you're brain releases chemicals in your body to try and make you feel better but these chemicals are dangerous if they continue daily and over flow to your blood stream. Talk to some one soon, there are all sorts of medicines for this if its some sort of disorder. Everything will get better, you have to choose to live your life in peace of mind. we live in America. there is tons of help and free counseling available for teens and women.

Talk to your parents about your problems. They are the only people in the world that would do anything for you and once you feel their love, you will definitely be much happier :)

You don't sound like you're able to cope without help, so you might start with your family doctor, if you have one. Hope you feel better.

Teen angst. Puberty is hard. I'm assuming you're in high school? High school was very difficult for me, I'm so relieved that I made it out alive. Your life changes so much and for the better after high school, when you're in high school though it feels like your entire world. But it isn't. Just make sure you take a good education away with you. Talk to someone about your problems or if you have a hobby or interest that helps you to vent or express these then this is a good idea.

  • No, it's not normal. Get help. See your school's counsellor.
