Yes, it's normal. Just be warned though, not saying you and your boyfriend will break up but if you do he will always be her baby and the friendship will probably and there.
Yeah, it's totally normal. You probably see her as like some sort of motherly figure that's also connected to your bf (even if you have your own mother as well)
I agree with the other comments. You're lucky she likes you so much, but there's no guarantee you and your bf will stay together forever. If your relationship ends, your friendship w/ his mom will probably end too. Best of luck to you though, hopefully that doesn't happen, just saying it's possible.
Yea it's normal, but definitely not the usual situation. Some potential MIL's can be the worst ever when it comes to their sons! You are lucky .. my bf's mom and I also get along really well, we even drink together here and there :) Now his sister is another story... that witch.
It's kind of unusual, but you are lucky. Most people would like to have a good relationship with their in-laws.
Yeah, I've been friends with many of my boyfriend's Moms and I am friends with my Mother in law. It's a good thing, trust me. Having a bitch for a Mother in law would be complete hell.
