Is it normal to chew like this???

Okay, so when I am eating my food I take one bite and chew it on the left side of my mouth, then chew the next bite on the right side. If for some reason I forget and chew 2 bites on one side I feel like I have to compensate by chewing 2 bites on the other side. I always have to start by chewing on the left and chewing the last bite on the right side, even if it means making the last piece of food I eat incredibly small. So tell me, is it normal??

  • Sounds like a mild form of OCD. I used to do little things like that when I was little. I don't believe all forms of OCD require medical attention. It depends on how much it's affecting your life.

OCD us not a problem unless it interferes with your life. OCDers make great accountants and dentists.
