Is it normal to chew ice and crave ice all the time?

I crave ice all the time and I love chewing it. I've heard that it's related to anemia for some reason, but I'm wondering if it may just be a habit.

It sounds like you have low Iron and maybe anemic ask your Dr to check you blood there are also lots of iron supliments over the counter at the Pharmacy they may give you more energy. But the crunch of ice between your teeth is an awesome sound

I'd go with the first post. Try eating leafy green veggies like broccoli or kale. Liver is also high in iron. If all else fails, you can take iron pills but consult your doc first. Use them with caution because they will make you constipated.

Whenever my ice machine randomly decides to drop an ice cube or two, my dog goes crazy. You two seem to have a lot in common..so maybe it is normal..?
