Is it normal to cherish the first gift the one you love gave you?

Last year, the guy I love gave me a present. Even though it’s been over a year, I still cherish it and admire it on a regular basis.

In my case, I haven’t been in a relationship with him, but he’s still the one I love.

    Keepsakes are nice..... if the gift-giver is someone you never dated, why the gift? What was the occasion?

    My ex bought me Ben and Jerry’s on our first date and it’s all gone :( but I have a login to his Spotify still so that’s a gift I got to keep (:
