Is it normal to check your pipes for leaks every day?

My husband, who I say has OCD, checks the pipes in our house every day for leaks. He will not leave the house until he is finished. He does this before work. It is crazy. He checks the sinks, toilets, furnace, water heater, sump pump etc. I told him he has OCD. He says NO. Funny every time there is a leak - I find it. Is he normal?
