Is it normal to check behind a shower curtain for murders?

When I go into the bathroom to take a shower, I always check behind the curtain to make sure a murder isn't there. Am I the only one who does this?

    I do that too! I also hate closing my eyes when I wash my face because of the grudge and amityville horror.

    lmao I do this!!! Thought it was only me lol. And also while in the shower, and I'm washing my face (with my eyes closed) I get this overwhelming feeling to rinse my face really quickly, open my eyes and pull back the curtain to make sure there isn't a murderer or evil demon in the bathroom with me.

    i don't do that, but when i enter the room i often check behind the door, maybe a ghost or murderer is there

    I think a shower is a place of vulnerabity especially if you've seen "Psycho". Showers have never been the same after that movie.

    Every time I stay at a motel, the shower curtain is closed (that's how the maids know it's clean. I usually go open them. One night, I forgot, went to use bathroom, and wad petrified. Tore it open and shitt!
