Is it normal to change your mind about someone?

So I met this guy over the internet and we sort of have plans to hang out tonight. I'm not sure If I am in the mood to see him right now because mostly
we talk about work and I do not want to talk about it. Should I just change the subject and say i'm working on it? even thought he'll laugh and start talking about his job.

    It's normal to have second thoughts, but just go out tonight and see how it goes. If you don't really want to talk about work and he just won't get off the subject, say something like, "What do you like to do outside of work? Any places you really want to go?" He is probably just trying to use work as an icebreaker and doesn't know how to get off the subject.

    You have changed your mind about him just because of his poor selection in conversation? Give the guy a chance. Just be open about it, and ask him what his life is like outside of work.
