Is it normal to change the rating on comments?

Whenever I see comments that are rated zero or less, I always change them to a higher rating. Regardless of what the comment says, I always feel sad for the lower rated ones :-(

    I almost never do. It feels too manipulative.

    Aw you're sweet!

    Most of us don't care though so don't let it bother you. Once we give our opinion we just move on and rarely look back.

    There's most likely a reason why they are in the negatives and should stay like that.

      Usually people downrate comments because they don't agree with them. Even if the comments are very constructive criticism and shouldn't offend anyone.

        I was refering to those "haha ur gay u idiot" kind of comments. I agree with what you said but I kinda forgot to mention it.

    Depends on the reason they're lower rated. Some of my comments have been lower rated, but I see nothing wrong with them.
