Is it normal to care this much for spiders and other insects?
Whenever one of my friends sees a spider and screams, and then goes to kill it, I will push my friend out of the way and save the poor spider.
I'm an average girl and I find spiders so, so cute, I love spiders. I hate seeing a spider get killed pointlessly. In fact you know what? My friends are ignoramuses. It's just a house spider, they're friendly, they're not about to mutate into a giant alien, and yet as soon as they see it they react in such an immature fashion, like this:.
"EEEEEKKKK!!! NO, STOP! GROSS, SO GROSS! *hyperventilates* LOOK A SPIDER, KILL IT, F**KING HELP, PLEASE F**KING HELP ME, IT'S GONNA JUMP ON ME!!!"
That happened just this morning. PATHETIC in my opinion, so babyish.
Once when it happened, one of them actually CRIED. They cried just because a spider touched their fingernail.
I feel the same way about bees and worms, and I never step on snails for fun, in fact all insects are so cute and I hate to see them treated like scum. IIN?
