Is it normal to call a crumpet a crampet

sometimes I say to my mom instead of 'are there any crmupets' i might say
'are there any crampets'
or crimpet it depends

    There are these things called "krimpettes' made by the company tastycake. My cousin would always call them crumpettes and it would piss me off. Ugh, she's always freaking wrong.
