Is it normal to buy signed albums?

So I'm a hardcore kpop fan and recently i've started buying signed albums from my favourite artists. When i tell my friends about it they all make fun of me and say things like "do you really need it?" and "its a waste of money". I want to hear your opinion on it, cause you don't know me. Is it normal to want to buy signed albums and spend some money on it? (obviously they're more expensive like $50-130) or is it really a waste of money?

I have signed K-Pop albums, and so do a lot of fans, I've got six signed albums, because they're pretty expensive it's hard to buy them often, but try buying them off mwave because it's $20 for a album, but only a random member of the group signs it, however if you're one of the people chosen, you'll get a signed album by all members of the group, for only $20. This is what happened with me when I brought my T-ARA album off there.

If its signed by your favorite artist, go for it. I would definitely buy a album signed by AC/DC. Or, even A7X (Avenged Sevenfold) so go for it. As long as you have the money to spend with enough left over so you can get the basic necessities.

I don't see a problem with what you're doing. It's going to sound cliche but it is your money and spend as you see fit. I too have bought some signed albums before and never regretted it. I have yet to get one personally signed after a concert but looking forward to it in the future!

I usually get mine signed for free after gigs.

It is worth it because, one day, those CDs will be worth more than a pretty penny and if you choose to sell, you'll be rolling in the fruits of your loyalty.
