Is it normal to bruise easily?

For as long as I can remember, I bruise fairly easily. Sometimes I will find bruises and have no idea what they're from.

    It's usually caused by a low platelet count in the blood, you should consult your doctor about it

    I have vertigo and my family have me covered in their finger marks on my arms, as they catch me if I go to fall over. I never noticed until the other day - oops! People must think I'm being abused!!
