Is it normal to breast feed a 9 year old boy?

We have 3 children ages son 9, daughters 6 and 4. My wife breast feed them all even the 9 year old. I talked to her about that, but she said that her mother breast fed her until she was 10 and also her brother and sees nothing wrong in it.

I've heard some women talk about using a breast pump to keep the milk flowing, so they could put it in a cup and give it to anyone in the family who's sick because it's supposed to be good for them, which while strange does make since, but actual breast feeding at that age, no its rather disturbing.

I'm not so sure she'd even have nipple from which to feed after nine years and 3 children. Accidental bite off should stop breast feeding by year five, with 3 kids.

Why should age have anything to do with drinking human milk? Humans are the only animal that drinks other animal milk. There are times when older kids feel left out and need a closeness with their mother.

One of many loving acts a parent can show to their children. Good point.
