Is it normal to break up with someone for being mama/daddy boy/girl?

If someone loves mommy a lot or loves daddy usually I think its sweet. You know we should all have a good relationship with family. However if you need your mother/dad on every date you go on and you never get alone time with this person is it right to be really annoyed? When they are already over the age of 20 or is this just shallow?

Sounds normal to me. That would be frustrating.

    • How do you deal with it?

I don't know if 'dealing with it' is really the solution.. I think it would be wise to talk to this person about it and make a compromise to suit the both of you.
If a compromise can't be made, weigh the pros and cons and decide whether its something you can 'deal with' or not.
I think crisp and clear communication could solve a lot of issues.

        • Well I was considering being with them but I can not deal with someones parents always being present. However they seem insistent on me giving them another shot. I do not have a lot of friends so I wanted someone to hang out with that lives close.

That's an interesting predicament. If its bothering you enough, I wouldn't deal with it. I'm not quite sure there would be any other option other than dealing with until you implode. Either way the outcomes the same. Unless something changes
