Is it normal to bleed regulary after stopping contraception?

I was on the injection for 3years and i started taking the pill for a month or so. For the past 3months i have been having irregular periods. I bleed almost every week or second week for a few days. I cant really tell what is my period and what is bleeding in between periods. I have been to the doctors and they said it is normal to bleed in between periods. I'm still not convinced. Has anyone had a similar situation? Should i be concerned?

    yer but its been happening since i stopped birth control 2months ago

    It's normal. A lot of women go through this. I bled for like a week and a half straight after I got on birth control. I don't know if it was my period or what but it was really annoying.
