Is it normal to bleed every time i have a poo?

I have had rectal bleeding for about 13 years. I have been diagnosed with piles and an anal fissure and about 6 years ago I had a colonoscopy which showed my bowel was healthy apart from my IBS. The thing is I've been using ointments provided by my doctor for years for relief of these things but they never really go away. The other day the toilet was completely red full of blood and now I am in agony. I have a huge hard lump in my rectum. Is this normal? Does anyone else continually suffer this problem?

i have this problem. but not to yr extent. When eat high fiber foods it goes away naturally. It must be an anal fissure but since yr doctors are professionals they will be better at helping u. Why dont u go for surgery. I can understand the agony of pooping when having an anal fissure for few days but 13 years? I would have killed my self. When i have it for few days i cant even sit down after dropping a dump. It feels like my inside is being ripped out of my colon. Just hold in there bro and keep seeing new docs who might help you.
