Is it normal to bleed constantly on the pill?

I started taking the pill about a month ago, and on the first day of my period, and since then I have been bleeding a dark brownish, light amount of blood constantly for the whole of the first packet, and I've just started the second, is this a common thing and will it stop soon?

    Ugh, nuva ring actually made my cramps way worse. It's normal, but not to the extent that you're talking about. Switch your brand or get off the pill, you shouldn't be bleeding that much

    its perfectly normal to bleed a little during the first 6 months of the pill. its called 'spotting' and will settle down eventually, just give it time. Meanwhile just use pantyliners :)
