Is it normal to blame marijuana for feeling like the world is fake

One day i woke up and everything just seemed as a dream. I wasnt sure what was happening, but i smoked a lot of weed before and seemed to blame it on that. Im not sure if this is normal or not or if its ever going to go away. Im scared if this will happen for the rest of my life. Is there anyone else out there that have experienced this? Or has anyone gotten rid of this? Is it normal?

I had this anxiety and weed can create cannabis induced depersonalization. Don't worry it's oonly temporary

It can last hours, days or months. treatment won't really help the best thing to try and do is as hard as it is try to ignore it.

It's the outcome of an overstressed mind. The more you think about it the worse it gets. The more you put it to the back of you're mind the faster it goes. Go on any site and you'll see people saying the same thing.

think of it as a chinese finger trap the more you ease the better it gets.

Depersonalization is your body giving you a warning its saying " you're working me too hard with you're worring and/or stress and insecurities"

Find a way to relax in your life or maybe you're like me and you have anxiety problems in which case you should ideally get someone to tak to free or paid and possibly medicinal treatments for anxiety (as a last resort)

The most important thing to know is this. You're not going insane etc, it's just anxiety and you will get better

I had it for a week but then as soon as I realiy understood and accepted that it went in days

Have you seen a doctor? and if you have was it before you had knowledge of depersonalization? it's well known enough in the medicinal field that most doctors should be aware of it if not full working knowledge of the condition

Im pretty sure you have depersonalization, the weed more than likely triggered it.I also have it,I inherited it through my fathers gens, but I triggered it when I began smoking weed.If your lucky its temporary,If your unlucky you'll be like me and have it permanently. All I can say is if you have it permanently your going to have to come to acceptance with it,sorry to say but you may never know what reality is like again.

It has the opposite effect on me; it makes the world look more real, like all of my subconscious biases have been turned off and I see the world for what it truly is.

Hahaha yes it can do many things to ones mind. But if you stop it will simply go away with time. But then again what does it matter how you see this shithole filled with scum.

  • Fake and real is the same thing.

The only difference is reality is shared with others.
