Is it normal to black out when you drink

Everytime I tell myself just one shot. But then I end up drinking half the bottle. The next morning there's all these fast food and candy wrappers all over the floor. Since no stores are in walking distance I have to assume that I was driving. If I don't remember what happened, does that mean I was too drunk to drive, and is this normal?

It isn't normal that you have to ask. How do you not know that blacking out is a bad thing?

Yikes, not normal, sorry. I admit when I'm drunk I have a few moments of the night I can't remember, but to completely have no recollection is a little harsh. Maybe you should slow it down a little and see if it has any affect on your night.

Face it, you're an alcoholic and if you keep this up, you'll be up the creek. Admitting that you have a problem is the first step towards recovery.

It happened to me but because I mixed four loko vodka and redbull and I got a blowjob in a dark room which I recorded the sound obviously but idk if it was my chick I was with or her guy friend that's the point I decided no more drinking around people..
