Is it normal to bite your tounge?

I usually take a nail clipper and just rip bits of my tounge off, or like, taste buds. Sometimes when I am in a public area I just bite it off with my teeth. I do indeed bleed a lot and, I've tried to stop by chewing gum a lot but it just wont work.. My mouth is always at least slightly bloody, and I do it A LOT. My mouth doesn't heal fully until at least 5 days but, it wont heal because I just do it too often. This recently started but, I am so numb when I do it and I love it but I know it's bad.. I don't know what to do..
And I don't want to go seek help because they wont listen, they never do. therapists made me more depressed than I already was. But that's not what I'm talking about.
I usually do it when I am bored and, it's so hard to eat salty things, it hurts so much!
Help please

One: see a doctor and Two: keep looking for a psychologist until you find the right one. Because that behavior isn't just unnormal, it's insane and unhealthy! Seek mental and physical help.

How many therapists have you consulted that you can conclude they never listen? That's just an excuse to continue your addictive self-harm: why ask us for help when you don't seem able to accept professional help for this?

Just for starters, have you tried hypnotherapy? It works for some people with some compulsions and addictions, for example smoking and overeating, but the person has to want it to work.
