Is it normal to believe my eye colour is different

Whenever I look in the mirror I think my eyes should be brown! In reality they are a mish mash of colour, it's a blue green colour with a bit of brown! They are quite dark and no one ever gives the same answer as to what colour! But they never say brown! My eyes don't suit my appearance which is a pale complexion and dirty blonde colour. It's just whenever I picture myself I have brown eyes. It feels like I used to have brown but I lost them. It's different to longing its really like loss. Sometimes when I look in the mirror I see brown( from far away or when I'm not looking) then I look properly and it comes as a shock to me that my eyes are not!!! Has this happened to anyone else????? is it normal to think this?????!?!

Your eyes are hazel. Hazel eyes change colors all the time. It can depend on the colors you wear to the lighting...anything.

You might want to get that checked out by a doctor, it's very common for people who have had dramatic eye color change to go blind in later years. I'm an optician and this is the more likely the case than not. Do you wear glasses?

My eyes are sometimes blue, and sometimes grey. I don't know if the light plays a factor, but when I see my eyes, it's usually in my home bathroom mirror, so I don't know how much that lightbulb changes lighting. I wish they'd stay grey. I like them when they're grey. DMV put "blue" on my driver's license. Makes me feel trapped in blue. :P

It should be normal if your eye are Hazel. I've noticed that allot of hazels have other colours blended into them. Another thing to consider, is to see a doctor just in case.
