Is it normal to believe in short man syndrome?

From my experience I have noticed short men (5' 8" and under) are angrier in life than taller men. Angrier and more defensive with women because they are seemingly not as attractive. Also more needy for other men's approval and with a greater desire to fit in and belong to the alpha male world. I know this is a generalization and I have short friends who don't fit this mold but I have seen it too many times to discount Short Man Syndrome. It's a discussion please don't hate on me.

    I'm 6ft and with my features along with my height it's a pain in the arse. I don't reckon 6fts that tall but your always getting called tall it's bs , and noticed , gives me the absolute shits. I reckon 5'10 would be a great height, nice and blendinable.

    I'm a pretty short fella myself. 5'4" last I checked. I'm always happy with who I am though. And I always stay chill during the short jokes lol.
    I do understand what your observing. I've seen my fair share of short guys who are really obnoxious. I guess they feel cheated by nature or something. Don't bash on em too hard though ;). Society has taught everybody to want to change themselves.

    It's not the size of the dog in a fight that matters, but the size of the fight in the dog. I've seen big dogs submit to little ones & the same is true in humans. With people as with dogs, the smaller ones seem to live longer.

    A lot of my friends are builders or work on construction sites and most are short, fat and bald but they are all alpha males who are the best laugh.

    I;m on the shorter side, and I am a bit self concious of that, but other than that I say if you are an "alpha male" is more of your attitude than your height.

    I'm short, about 5'7, but I wouldn't say I'm angry of tall people, just jealous. Most of my friends have around the same personality as me, of course with minor differences, and they're all around 6 feet. I have met people who were my height and very annoying to be around because all they wanted to do was fight, but I've also met people who are my height and fit in very well.
