I believe every living thing on the earth is equal and has the exact right to life as the next thing?

But it seems like animals are viewed less important than us humans, why are we mourning people years later who have died in disasters both man made and natural, when thousands of animals are being treated the way they get treated in factory farming.

People would be arrested or given the death penalty for treating humans like this. How the fuck is this fair?

    I think humans tend to judge intelligence as a factor when applying rights. I'm as guilty of this as anyone when deciding what I'm going to eat and what I refuse to eat. Or rather, what should be killed for me to continue to exist.

    I personally don't think fish should be killed so that I can exist and yet I'm a pescatarian. I'm demonstrating my attack surface there, giving anyone an angle to attack me (feel free, it's not a trap. It's me being human). I'm hoping they view it exactly oppositely, though, and do their own personal audit and are brave enough to admit weaknesses in arguments as opposed to always appearing to come from a position of strength when the truth is anything but.

    What are you babbling on about you hippy bitch? So you think rapists and murders are equal and have a right to life as everyone else. Yea everything has a right to life but were at the top of the fucking food chain, so it natural that we eat everything else. It's nature. Also, you say we remember people after disasters. Well....yea because we form relationships with them, they mean something to our lives and contribute to society. Hell you can remember the little billy mountain goats that died in the Japanese Tsunami but in the end they're just food. I'd much rather remember human beings.
