Is it normal to become obsessed with a film?

When I watch a great film, that really sucks me in, I become a bit obsessed with it! When I watched the Final Destination films, for ages I would research everything about the plot and characters, looking at pictures and re-watching death scenes. When I wasn't doing that I would be thinking about the plot and the ideas, the clues in the film, etc. Same when I watched Suckerpunch, because I loved the film and it fascinated me so much. Why do I do it? Is it normal?

If you think the Final Destination series are great films, you need to seriously reexamine your life.

Normal. I do the same thing with some of my favorite movies as well.

I do that because I have Asperger's Syndrome. It does NOT mean that you have too much time on your hands. Everyone should do it.

It's normal. I'm currently obsessed with Amelie and Run Lola Run.

People like you are one of the reasons why I long to go into the filmmaking business :) It would be amazing to find someone who would obsess over my movies as much as I do. I hope someday that someone will fan my movies as much as you fan "Final Destination" or "Suckerpunch".

I believe it's normal. Some people are really big movie fans and there's nothing wrong with that :)

Same. Uno sucker punch who's perspective did you it was from. Was it the main character or was it the girl who got away at the end. Or was it in prospective of someone else completely? From your oppinion I have an idea but not entirely sure
