Is it normal to become depressed on how things used to be?

It's my last year of school, and most of my friends graduates last year. It's halfway through the year and it seems like most of the people I know here are all changing for the worst and becoming a**holes, and i feel like i'm being ripped apart. I miss how everything used to be, not jut having my older friends here, but how my friends that are my age used to be.
I know school is nearly done, but I don't want to continue feeling like this. I just want some advice on how to deal with it. Anybody?

Your just feeling the anxiety of the uncertainty that you feel as you are being released into the real world. Like most of us you will realize that the relationships you have are those of convenience and will move on like most people, maybe even forgetting those who you thought were very important and there is nothing wrong with that. You must let go of the past and move onto the future that is in front of you, you literally have your whole life ahead of you and there is nothing to be afraid of.
