I'm an optimistic person who's usually cheerful and having fun. I just don't care about things other people care about. I never bother with details. A job's a job, a car's a car, a bed's a bed. If I need it, I'll get it. I just don't care.

    Good for you.

    Most people care so much about those things because of a lifetime of being bombarded with advertising and media pressure, not because those things actually have a lot of value.

    It's a sad reality, but they are the norm.
