Is it normal to be upset with how immoral this generation is?

I was talking on cam with this stranger, expecting just to pass the time. We talked for a while and she said "you're kind of cute, want us to get naked?" I thought she was talking about us getting Naked brand juice from our refrigerators and drinking it, excited to find someone who is as conscious about their nutrient intake as I am. So I went to go get some Naked from the kitchen, and when I came back she was completely undressed! She looked very annoyed and asked me where the hell I was and why are my shorts still on. Speechless, I just held the Naked up so she could see it. She stared for a moment and burst into laughter, telling me again that I'm cute. But I was just so surprised that she would even do this. I don't even want to talk about the things she did next for fear of my moral decency being tarnished. I had heard stories of rowdy teens but never before have I experienced the horrors for myself! Who else is scared of what the world is coming to? What can we do?

      I know, right?

      50 years ago, there was no such thing as intolerance or stupidity.

      People didn't have secks until they were married and they never got divorced. They never even thought about secks with anyone but their spouse. They all lived in perfectly clean white houses, free from any amorality and they all raised their children the right way. And they were also all hard-working and all well-educated.

      All of the amorality is completely new.

    When you hear the word naked the first thing that pops up into a human head is humans with no clothes on. It's instinct. We do not think of a drink brand.

    Yes and no. Yes, you're normal for being upset, it seems like this is a common issue for some. No, you're not normal for believing it because it's not really true.

    They grew up with the internet and the adults in their lives did not, that's about the biggest difference.

    The sex part is still the same though.
    However, these days, instead of keeping their sexual experimentation amongst themselves or at their schools, they are exhibitioning themselves sexually to the world via the internet.

    The internet sometimes gives the illusion of privacy, but it's really not very private at all. So, without parents or teachers warning children about the pitfalls of socializing sexually online - or even being aware of what's going on on the internet in the first place, those kids are going to do whatever they want while not understanding or even being aware of the full consequences.

    They are not "immoral", they are uninformed - which is normal for any teenager from any generation.

    Don't worry I know where you're coming from. I am part of this generation. I'm a teenager at the moment and I'm disgusted with the way some people my age act. I use the internet too, but I would never even consider doing something like that. The problem is that now-a-days girls think it's cool to be 'slutty' and boys think it's cool to be 'chavvy'. There's nothing we can do about it and yes, I do think we're doomed.

    But knowing 'how this generation is' why did you go on the internet chat thing anyway?

    Honestly I think it's because of the extreme rise in atheism nowadays. When you have no limitations on doing bad or good things since they believe you won't get punished or rewarded for anything, they do whatever they want. And human instincts are to do things that involve material things and sex. Since before almost everyone was religious, these disgusting habits were very rare, and if they did happen, their reputation was ruined. Being away from God may seem logical to atheists, but it ultimately ruins their life.

        First I'd like to mention that I'm not Christian. Glad you're not a bad person, but I never said ALL atheists are like that, but a lot of them are. Many turn to atheism to do whatever they want. Being an atheist risks you to do bad things that will make you regret everything. When you don't have limitations on what you should do and what should not do, you're more likely to do bad things. Therefore, yes, the lack of morality in this generation has A LOT to do with atheism.

        And please stop saying "you think this you think that" as if I represent all religious people and don't insult me as if you know me. You're only giving atheists a bad name calling religious people idiotic.

    I think this is not only normal, but ought to be addressed as a serious issue in society. It's one thing to be a rebellious teen, but another to think you can do something so drastic to a complete stranger that being said I do think that naked culture would be much better for our children. Think about it... Nobody really cares how much clothing you wear, and there isn't really anything teens can do to get much more rebellious! Trust me... When you're around naked people for quite some time, you stop caring that they're naked.

    wow, you need to pick up a history book, and I dont mean that watered down text you get from high school. Ever heard of hippies, beatnicks, punk kids? heck even the more popular "Disco loving" kids in the 70's still were sexually active in those times. this kind of attitude has always been around in teens, and more popular in anyone part of the "counter-culture". its just that technology has advanced, and the strict religious dogma has faded slightly, so now you can see more of this side of people. teens will always want to fuck like rabbits, no matter the time, its in their nature.

    the world is getting worse because of the influence of the media and its bad news and bad influence and its propaganda but i dont think teens back back then are that pure too cuz of the hormones its all just natural hormones i guesss even back before sex was talked or shown so easily
