Is it normal to be upset that my boyfriend is not jealous/possessive?

I'm the jealous type. But I could do anything under the sun (flirt with whoever, go out clubbing with five guys and come back at dawn, etc) and my boyfriend wouldn't bat an eyelid!!!!

But i kind of want him to be a bit jealous or protective of me - it'd make me feel special and important and loved by him... him not been jealous makes me think he dosnt care sometimes...

IS this normal.?
