Happens to me too. Means you have a lot of unfinished thoughts in your head, so when you go to sleep they all pop up, cause then you have the most time for thinking.
This is actually one of the most common reasons for someone to be misdiagnosed with insomnia, because they don't clear their minds. If your brain is still being active like its 3 pm then you will struggle falling asleep.
If it begins to become an issue, try meditating before falling asleep. Just tell yourself if there's something wrong, you can deal with it in the morning. There isn't a lot you can control and the best thing to do is go with the flow.
Yes I have the same problem! Its like I cannot turn my brain off. And the more I think about it the more I can't fall asleep. Try to relax, and some how forget about the things that are stressing you out.
Yes very normal, its soo bad for me though..I think and think ,it feels like it never ends and i never get sleep, I stay up thinking, til like five in the morning. Then I finally sleep.
totally normal. life is a rollercoaster. maybe youre too stressed or most likely not challenged enough on a daily bases. the best cure for an overactive mind is to tucker yourself out in time for bed. probably a good idea to lay off the caffeine too or just have a suitable dose before 9am.
I do the same thing. Unfortunately, I haven't been sleeping great lately and now I'm sick so its making it even harder.
Try writing all of your thoughts down before bed. :)
drink some Tequila, or have a whip-it and get rid of some of those brain cells
