Is it normal to be unable to move on from my exgirlfriend?

It has been over two years since i broke up with my girlfriend but it feels lile i am still in love with her. Is this normal? I would perfer a girls thoughts about this since they are more likely to good perpective over this.

I'm not a girl but I know what you're feeling man. I've loved a girl who has pretty much hated me back for about a year now. Everyone tells me to just move on and forget about her but I simply can't. All I do is think and dream about her every day and night. it must be a lot harder for you since you actually got around to dating. So it's certainly normal but perhaps it's best if you move on.

Your a perfect example why i distrust guys but you got a point i do sound like "...punk bitch who can't get over a girl..." Thats why after reading your comment i decided to get myself a fuck buddy, which i did,& since then haven't been distracted by my ex. It was probably just sexual tension between me & my ex

Why would they be more likely, considering you are a male talking about your seeming inability to move on from a girl?

I broke up with a guy I dated in High School three years ago and he still hasn't gotten over me. But I was a huge bitch to him three weeks ago over him being a whiny girl so it's likely that that's changed. What I've found is that finding someone else is generally a great way to move on. Likely, you miss being in a relationship more than you actually miss her. Just my thoughts though.

Unfortunately it's quite normal. Being a lesbian was really tough and when I first fell in love it was so hard for me to get over. We were both head over heels for each other but we never dated because we didn't want to have a long distance relationship because she had to move to Another state. It'll soon be a year after she started dating again and I still can't get over her. Maybe because she was the first person I loved as a fully commited lesbian? I don't know. Plus she's really dyke-ish hah. So, even though she could be a douche at times I was like super duper uber starstruck. It's hard to get over them and it's even harder to then try to find someone who will fit the gap that they left behind. Maybe you should get a new hobbie or something. It definitely has helped me.

Sometimes all it takes is a little look and then all those feelings come flooding back.

You need something or someone to help take your mind of your ex.

STop being emo. dude, you need to realise that she never loved you. Or is properly laughing about you, to her friends.

find a good friend. ( a real bro) a dude that has your back.

go to a club with this new wingman, and have a blast!!!

      she moved on.

She's heartless, cold and distant just like the rest of them.
