Is it normal to be turned on by the king kong and t-rex fight?

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the fight between King Kong and the T-Rex from the movie King Kong. I am specifically referring to the 1933 version. I'm just an average young guy that dates women, passes the time with video games, and has a good job, but ever since I was a child, I would always remember getting very excited watching King Kong battle the T-Rex, and it still has the same effect on me now that I am older. I think it is mainly due to how Kong dominates the T-Rex towards the end that gets me, well, turned on. When Kong jumps on the dinosaurs back and starts pulling apart its jaws, I can start to feel something building up inside of me. And when Kong finally gets the T-Rex on the ground, breaks its jaws, and crushes in its skull, its such complete and utter domination that I'm fully aroused. (The sound of the crunching bones alone gets me excited.) So I have to ask, is this normal, and has anyone else had a similar reaction to this fight?

    You could read some of Georges Bataille's philosophy.
    Might explain some things.
    I believe one of his work was about the relationship between sexuality and death in the human psyche and that it was already there since the prehistory.
    It's very interesting imo.

    When I was really young (like 3 or 4 years old) there was an episode of Garfield and Friends where Garfield eats too much lasagna and grows as big as a sky scraper and starts crushing buildings and fighting UFOs and it used to give me a raging hardon whenever I watched it.

    I definitely grew out of it though.

    It's definitely unusual, but everyone has their weird turn-ons. When I was younger I used to get turned on by looking at the old Double Tree Inn logo (the one where the trees' leaves were overlapping circles) for some reason. Anyway, I don't think your King Kong fight fetish is harmful as long as it doesn't evolve into the sound of human bones being crushed!

    And actually, I used to have these kinds of feelings too. Whenever I'd see really gory and horrific movie/video game scenes as a young child, like 4-5 or so, I'd get really turned on and get an erection. Especially with Resident Evil on the N64, or any movie involving people getting eaten by wolves like Silver Bullet.

    I never knew anyone else ever had that same feeling.

      Nope its not just you. I have always felt the same way. But the King Kong and T-Rex fight is what did it for me the most.

    i like the later king kong film, it's my favorite. the dynasoar fighting sequence had me on the edge of my seat, it's such a great film (but only when the ape is in the scene plus i turn it off before he gets captured)
