Is it normal to think hairy men are sexy? I thought girls were supposed to like hairy men, but everyone keeps telling me it's weird. I was texting a guy and I asked him how much body hair he had. He acted really evasive, thinking it was because I hated it. But when he showed me pictures and I told him I liked it, he thought I was making fun of him. I don't know why everyone is so suprised or thinks I'm lying.

But is this normal? I seriously am turned on by men with hairy chests, stomachs, backs, shoulders, and whatever else. I hear some girls say they like a hairy chest, but they think a hairy back or stomach is gross. I think it's sexy and it turns me on. I just want to rub my face in it. Why does everyone think I'm kidding? Is it because I'm so young? I'm only 18.

    I think of it this way. If God made people a certain way, He better have made some people who find it sexy or else the poor people would be screwed over. There are men who are born to be really hairy. Therefore there are women who are born to LUUVVV them. Nice and simple as that. It's all good.

      Well a guy who has a very hairy chest, legs, arms and hairy shoulders WILL definatly have a hairy dick (penis). I am sort of like that and I do have a hairy penis, the hair extends most of the way up, particularly the body side of it, there is a clump of hair just short of the top, I expect most hairy men will have that as well.

    A man who is very hairy is because he has similar skin property to women’s, that is her/his skin follicle is too sensitive to testosterone, that’s why real women instinctively prefer men who are less hairy, which resembles the real men whose skin tolerance for testosterone is very high.

    When a man gets older, his skin may even become more sensitive to testosterone, that’s why older men grow more beard and body hair.

    Some women thinks hairy men are more masculine that’s because the false impression influenced by media.
    They essentially want MATURED men who can take care of them, not about the being hairy or not hairy.

    The moment she realizes that being hairy is not indication of masculine, then she will not see this as something attractive.

    If a man is genetically wired to be hairy, that is, his skin follicle is as sensitive as women’s, no matter high testosterone, normal testosterone, or low testosterone, he will be hairy.

    See, I think it "should" be normal, but hairiness is not really in fashion right now except among hipsters.

    I can't believe it, but for the last 5 years or so, supposedly "masculine" jocks have gone to the next level of vanity and are shaving their underarms! I mean, c'mon...

    I wish people would stop altering their bodies to satisfy the strange, fluid beauty standards of society. This is what causes people to look back at old pics of themselves and go "eww, what was I thinking?" I'll never have that problem, as I don't follow trends, I do what I think suits me individually.

    If you're a hairy guy, stay hairy, there are loads of people who find it hot. I, for one, think it looks extremely virile and masculine. I totally respect hairy guys who don't mind showing off.

    Well im glad to hear that Sweetheart you see im a Hairy man alot on my chest and my crotch no hairy back though but I dont think there is anything wrong with you for that When I used to gi to Topless Bars I would have some of the Dancers would come up and want to rub the hair on my chest so I think Women like it Love!!

    Ok this is coming from a bi guy. I for one love hairy men. To me, it makes them seem more masculine to me. Hairy bodies turn me on immensely and I enjoy doing things with hairy men. As for if it normal? I voted yes but I don't no how other bi or gay men feel about hairy men. But ur not alone! :)

      Interesting reading that some females and some males are "turned on" by hairy men. I am not sure if I am turned on in the sexual sense of the word, but lets say I do admire a guy who is hairy and never shaves or trims any hair off himself, its just natural to leave the hair to grow out, no matter how long it is, that's nice. I do shave my face and get my neck hair shaved by the hairdresser when I get my hair cut, about every 8 weeks of so. When I am in a suit, wearing a coller and tie no body hair shows at all.

    There have always been a certain percentage of women, young and not so young that have been "turned on" by hairy men, there is absolutely nothing wrong in that. It would be great if the young 18 year old girl writing in met the man of her dreams, a nice guy with a hairy, well everything, chest shoulders, arms, back and legs, but the chances of that are rather remote as most guys are not just as hairy as that. I am sure she would like me, my hairy chest has been compared to a werewolf, as far as my arms are, some people have compared them to a monkeys. I don;t mind, I also have very hairy shoulders and legs, my back is only covered with a light covering of hair, if I met her I hope she would not mind me only having a light covering of hair on my back, elsewhere on my body I am sure she would be happy.

    I find hairy men quite hot too. I really love hairy chests, hairy legs and arms and I really love facial hair too. I don't mind hairy backs and hairy stomachs go with hairy chests for me so I like that too. I think it's quite manly. And very much a turn on. I've also been told it's weird but can't be bothered. It's MY preference. I'm also only 18. Is it supposed to be like an older women thing? >.<

      It is normal for a man to have a hairy chest, I am from the UK and I don't know any man who does not have at least some hair on his chest, most of the guys are in fact quite hairy, a few only have a countable number of hairs on their chest and a very few none at all, but most have quite hairy chests like myself, could not count how many. I don't think many men shave off the hairs on their chest, only a few, maybe there the ones that don't have any hair at all, daft, sissy, just don't dig that sort of thing at all, men should be men, not stay like little boys or guys in a glossy magazine. The vast majority of women don't like these types.
