Is it normal to be turned on by asmr
For some reason female voice whispering just turns me on but it also has my full attention and is very relaxing to listen to sometimes
Is this weird? Lol

I'm not really familiar with ASMR, but to me it seems to be a bunch of fetishy videos, where attractive girls whisper and make sensual looks with lots of lipstick, whoring it up to get more views...
Maybe there is something relaxing about it for some people, but to me... A girl dressed like she's out looking to get laid, sensually whispering, lots of lipstick, lots of close ups of her lips and breathing heavily is not going to relax me. It's gonna give me a weird boner.
Try the hum of a ship engine, or a ship's generator... That does the trick. Or a train. One of the fastest ways you can fall asleep... Listen to a diesel train and the clacking it makes going between rail gaps.
It's a really nice way to go to sleep, thinking about all the parts and all the science that went into making these machines and then drifting away into slumber land.
I think it's REALLY oversexualised. I mean, they're helpful, but honestly; they're just doing that for views. And that sickens me.
I disagree. ASMR is helpful for sleep and helps people sleep better or feel tingle sensations. What is wrong with that?
It's funny when I first identified asmr on YouTube I stumbled upon a random weird video of a girl counting numbers but she was whispering too and I found that so relaxing to fall asleep to...again nothing initially was sexual about that it was only audio mainly but I watched asmr transform into a monster and I kinda like it more? ☻
Im 50/50 with the ASMR videos. It only takes one asshat to ruin it for everyone, especially the people who really do benefit from those videos. But like fidget spinners, the videos have become too trendy and annoying.
*whispered* of course it's normal.
Those sk sk sk and tisk tisk tisk get me every time.
Best of luck in your asmr journey.
Good question. :)
