Is it normal to be turned on at cute pet names?

So I’ve been messing around with a guy and he calls me darling which is a completely normal thing but for some reason it makes me so wet and just want to rip his clothes off wherever we are right then and there. I think it’s just something about being called that for some reason turns me on. Is this normal or am I just being weird over a simple name?
