Is it normal to be totally grossed out by hotel bathrooms?

i'm asking this mainly because we just got back from my sister's soccer tournament trip over the weekend and we stayed at a hotel. and i HATE taking showers in hotel bathrooms, they dont even have to look dirty, they just plain gross me out. and i dont like going to the bathroom in them either. its not that i mind most public bathrooms or even lobby bathrooms its just ones in hotel rooms

    I used to be a housekeeper and the bathrooms are cleaner than the beds. Believe me.

    I'm not fond of staying in hotels because they aren't MY home. All of these safety measures have to be taken with the beds and the bathroom and it's So annoying. However, if you stay at a high class hotel you shouldn't have to worry too much. When I went to Europe, I think I slept in all the beds like I would at home or I took safety measures with a couple. I'm not sure, but if I'm staying in NYC, I take the extra precautions. I don't feel like getting bitten by bedbugs.

    i hate public bathrooms but not hotel bathroom but i agree its normal
