I am a 17 year old girl and am 6'2'' tall. I tower over everyone in my school, even most of the boys. I have never dated, and I think my height has a lot to do with this. Am I a giant?
I'd guess your height does have a lot to do with it, yes. People still have the idea that women should be shorter than the man she's with. I understand how difficult it can be too because I have a female acquaintance who is exactly the same height as you. I'd encourage everyone to get past their prejudices, though. Even though my friend only has a couple of inches on me, being hugged by a woman who is taller is a unique experience that's kind of difficult to describe. It's really, really nice in unexpected ways.
lol u're not a gaint. but u're very tall for a girl. i am a 5'11" male but i wouldnt mind dating u if u got other things to offer expect "im tall lolz".
It may seem like its not normal because your the tallest in your school but my cousin plays volleyball, she's 5' 11 and that's on the short side for that sport. She is fifteen and already looking into a volleyball scholarships, she has met a lot of girls through volleyball who are the same height or taller and she said that they all have a bond over it, they also meet a lot of tall guys through volleyball. I'm not saying you should play just because your tall but you might be good and enjoy it and make friends and meet guys.
You are tall, but tall women are elegant if you ask me, I am a 20 year lad and i am about 5'6-5'7, I would date you, I love tall women who are at least 6'0 and I want a tall lass to be me girlfriend/wife!
I'm 6'4" you sound just about right to me. But I prefer girls who have to tip-toe a little. Or so I bend down, helps make me feel more alpha.
You are way above average, but be happy that you're tall. I'm only 5'9" and I thought I was tall, Lol

Embrace it. There are thousands of guys who have no problem at all dating a girl taller than them and if you have trouble finding one near you give me a call ;o)
Its normal if you live in Holland or if you're a contestant on Next Top Model or if your parents are Giraffes. lol Be happy that you're tall. Some guys really love that and don't be afraid to wear the high high heels and short skirts :)
Ya it's normal people grow deferent u may never grow a inch again but unfortunately it may be the reason ur not in a relation ship but that just makes those guy shallow

Man. I'm a girl and I'm 5'10" and I thought that was crazy. I was always one of the tallest girls and people often called me "giant" and one time I had white furry boots so people called me Sasquatch. I know how it feels. It sucks. But eventually the guys get taller and you stop noticing if they're your height or not. My boyfriend is exactly my height. I don't wear heels often though cause honestly I hate them anyways lol.
Meh... I'm 6"2 as well, and didn't get my first kiss til I turned 18. It has nothing to do with your appearance, really.
It's how you put yourself out there and quite seriously how picky you are.
No girl at your school is as tall as you and you're going to ask if your height is normal. Isn't this a question you already know the answer to?
Yeah, that's tall. 10 inches over average female height, and that's if you don't grow any more.
The good news is that it's not as big an obstacle in your love-life as you think. While most girls won't even think about dating a shorter guy, trust me, guys don't care. You haven't been asked out because all the social pressure is on guys to make a move, and the guys around you assume that you follow the common practice of not dating guys shorter than you so they don't see the point of trying.
So if you can accept that you'll have to date shorter guys and that you'll have to make it obvious to guys that you're interested in them, you'll do fine.
