Is it normal to be this size...

5'5", weigh 207lbs, and yet be a size 16? I don't really understand how I weigh this much and don't appear to be over 200lbs and people I know even agree on that. Apparently there is no such thing as being big boned, so I have no idea anymore how I continue to deceive people into the theory I only weigh in around 150. Also, should I take PGX to try and get down to a healthier weight for my height? I would like to add that I am 19 as well.

I know it has something to do with fat percentile, so what I am thinking is to continue working of the fat and see from there what happens. Possibly even consult my doctor on it. I know it isn't healthy to be at this weight, because my family has a history of high blood pressure and heart attacks. I also know, I'm not fat, I'm healthy. I have been told so by my doctor before. Which is why I have had a lifestyle change and with the job I do I am on my feet for 11 hours, then an additional hour and a half I am on an elliptical in the day. I have been losing weight though, so I guess it is one of those things that just manages to go down slow and steady through working hard on it.

It's all down to your body fat percentage. Muscle is denser than fat (not heavier, as some people say) so the same weight in muscle takes up less space and makes you look smaller. Your body fat percentage is probably lower than most people your weight.

It's normal in the sense that a lot of Americans are fat. Don't deceive yourself by thinking you weigh only 150. Those people are just being nice. In reality you are not at a healthy weight which can lead to all sorts of health problems.

I'm trying to face reality myself. I'm a man and I weigh 205 at 5'11 and I need to lose weight. I'm in my 20s and have high choloesterol already. If I'm fat at my height and we weigh the same you defintely need to drop some.
