Father has more than three guns and told me to keep mine under my bed because there might be meth heads living down the road.
He has also placed cameras around the house because of said meth heads, even though we've never been broken into, or seen crazy people walking up and down the road.
Is it normal?
Probably normal. The red flag should go up if he starts suspecting family and friends of plotting against him, or if he starts rambling constantly about crazy government conspiracies etc. Lol
If your dad thinks there are reasons for it then i guess it is better to be safe than sorry.
Not normal. Just because they're meth addicts doesn't mean that they're gonna break into your house. What indication did they ever give that they would break into your house?
I think he's overreacting a little. Its not worth it to live your life in fear like that. Sure, lock your doors, maybe put up an alarm system or something. But you really shouldn't have to sleep with guns under your bed.
There's so many sicko's out there, but you really can't live your life in fear. Its stupid to worry about stuff like that. Theres addicts all over.
My dad is the same way. I think it's useless. They're the scare ones doing all kinds of bullshit just because they think someone is going to break in. Smh.
