I've been in love with the same guy for a few years but it seems like I've known him my whole life. Everything about him I depend on he's my whole world, but were not in a relationship, he says its because of his 'commitment' issues and that's fine I can understand that due to his past failed relationships but it seems like I'm getting no where! Were together every day and night intimately and were the best of friends, he tells me he loves me and I can tell he means it, but were not official, is it normal

    It's obvious that you're investing in this relationship way more than him, so the question shouldn't be "IIN?" it should be "Do you think you deserve more?" and I think you do deserve more.

    I'm in the same exact position as your "friend". It's scary actually, cause I thought u were the girl I'm really into. But what are the chances? Anyways I've known her for soo long, we're the best of friends, we know we both love eachother, we've said it, show it and proved it. I too have commitment problems cause of the past. But right now I don't want to make it "official", because I have a gut feeling that we will last longer then if we were "official". I don't want anything to ruin this, I dislike spamming the "L" word, but I'm just too into her! I Adore her ! I thought my situation would help alot since we are in a similar boat.

    Maybe he thinks that once you two are in a relationship, it'll end up as a failed one and he's scared of losing you?...

    I vote normal everyone has their problems. Sorry if this didn't help at all :/
