Is it normal to be that sad about movies?

I go to see movies and I get so upset. It's like the person in the movie has a good life or a story or they told their story and I can't. Sometimes I will be so upset about this I cry myself to sleep. I went to see soul surfer and jealousy just gets the best of me I think. Is this normal?

I can understand. You probably know it already, but the only way to stop feeling this way is to make your life something that you feel has worth.

I know, right? I mean, God forbid they actually make it like REALITY. I mean, how many times do people in life actually get who or what they really want? Seriously.

I wanna watch something thats beautiful, interesting, realistic, easy to relate too, maybe a little funny too so I don't leave the movie theatre ALONE(lmao)depressed!(I've really never been to the movies by myself before. But you know, some people do.) They need to make movies that relate to the people, and make them feel like, "Thats me! That loser crying in her pajamas, thats me.".

Sometimes I can't really figure out if I really want movies to relate more to me and my life, or if I just wanna be more like the person in the actual movie. I think it would be so much more pleasant to have a happy ending like the characters usually do in the movies.

This happens to me too. I really wanna see that movie, One Day, with Anne Hathaway. I think its coming out soon, but I have a strong feeling its gonna end with a happy ending. AS USUAL.

I guess I'm just begining to really hate the fact that I have no love life right now. Its actually starting to get to me now. Even the comedies seem to always end in happiness. WTH? Even Bridget Jones went from singing all by myself to pure happiness. Cant these movies jus have a bad ending for once? And ending where someone just doesn't get what they want for once?

Isn't that girl missing an arm from a shark attack in that movie?

Well honey we all feel like our lives aren't interesting enough or not movie worthy but hey, that's normal. I'll tell you what, if you want to do something that'll make yourself proud then volunteer and help people like little kids in a hospital or something. It's cliche but it's really an amazing feeling when you see someone smiling up at you and you know that you're the one that made them happy for that moment.
