Is it normal to be terrified of walmart?

I think you're more biased against Walmart than afraid. Granted, you never know what you'll see when you go, but most times it's not as bad as you (or the website) imply. It sounds to me like you do some serious stereotyping. You don't mention being afraid of crowds in other places, so it doesn't sound like a phobia. The only advice I can offer is don't shop at Walmart. This doesn't seem normal.

Wallmart is evil and I've found that most there prices are not really that low and there standerds are low I never shop at wallmart I have found my kids school clothes cheaper at the mall yes the mall and there nice brands so to hell with wallmart. And they do treat there workers like crap

Wall-Mart bad. The opened a store in a little town in my state. It ran all the other stores out of business, then they left town.

My mom hates walmart because they treat their employes like crap, like inlove said.

I work at a super walmart and I hate it. The prices are so low but walmart is so cheap!! Emplyees only get a ten percent discount and that does not include food!! The one I work at is understaffed and when we get a new hire everyone elses hours get cut. There is zeroooo opportunity for overtime ever. They can afford to give us a break but they don't. Sigh. Normal for you maybe. But for me I don't like it when someone announces on the PA system something and you don't understand them because they don't speak English very well. It's also hard to get help because they don't understand you. I live in the western states. It's horrible.

Don't like Walmart? I don't like their restrooms personally, the smell horrible more than half the time. Go to target.

So much Walmart bashing. Tsk Tsk. Well, I happen to like Walmart. I like what it does for our economy and the number of jobs it provides. If Walmart when under like many of the companies in this country, you'd know the entire country was going under. So, be grateful for this anchor that you all abhor so much; one day you may realize its' impact.

Well, I'm from Australia and when I was in the US for a holiday we went to Wallmart and I really didn't think it was that awful. Maybe I was just distracted by all the interesting products that we don't have in Australia that I didn't take much notice. I was also surprised that it was so big and not only was it a groccery store but the sold clothes and electrical goods as well haha. Oh, and there was a McDonalds in there too. We don't have anything like that here so perhaps thats why I wasn't as disgusted as you guys... also I don't work there so that could be it too.

Basically, I was so distracted by the many flavors of Koolaid that I didn't notice how gross it was!
