Is it normal to be terrified of touching/feeling spider webs?

i've had and still have a massive fear of feeling those nasty things at all, the earliest i can remember is when i was in kindergarden, i remember we were walking back inside to the classroom, i was dragging my hand along the brick building we were walking next to, and i remember accidently touching a smaller web that was on one of the windows and it freaked me out and i pulled my hand back. most recent was last year i think, i was walking up to the front porch to get back in the house and i accidently ran into a big one, wasnt pretty :( i have to admit they can be cool to look at and are pretty when looking at them in a book but even looking at them in real life freaks me out. so just curious, anyone else got this strange fear?

I am incredibly creeped out by caterpillars.

I don't mind. Besides, its always me that gets to walk first where there may be a web. I wave my arms if I don't have a stick or something. But I don't even know how many times I've walked into a big web and its always right in my face. Figures. Its a pain to get it of my damn eyelashes. I'm used to now and I love spiders anyway, so it doesn't bother me however, I don't want to get bitten. That I do not enjoy

  • I think they're cool looking but I don't like touching them either.
