Is it normal to be terribly annoyed by people chewing on their food?

Can't stand to even look at my husband when he eats cereal.

I'm just like you! Ugh I can't stand it but I think it also triggers more when I'm already irritated by something else.

My bf drives me crazy when he stands close to me and chews. It's somewhat less annoying if I'm eating too. Try chewing gum, it makes it less noticable.

i know exactly how you feel
it makes me feel sick when someone chews around me i dont care if there mouth is closed if i hear it it just get all sick to my stomache
it really does help if your eating while they are just make sure you dont finish first

I practiclly cry when people chew by me :)
