I'm currently being bullied at work. This bitch is just a control freak and always picks on every single little thing I seem to do 'wrong'. It all got really ugly last week when she brought her personal digital camera into work when she wasn't meant to and made me use it to take pictures with. I didn't want to upset her or anything so just agreed to take the pictures for her while she was on her lunch break. But in the split second I turned my back one of the kids broke it. Is it fair for her to expect me to pay for a new one? Or to pay to get it repaired? I've already apoligized for the inconvience and said it was just an accident but she is bullying me more now than ever. I've spoken to our boss and she said that it's not fair that this bitch is now without a camera and i should pay for it but I disagree. Help! What do I do?

    Tell your superior. If she keeps bothering with no resolve, threaten to take legal action against her.

    Has it ever occurred to you that she may like you? Sometimes people like others and end up bullying them, I assume that one possibility is that they aren't comfortable with their sexuality.

    Gah! I had to suffer from that when I was at work too. They never kept a close eye on anyone but me, and they always were looking for me to do something wrong even when it was the TINIEST thing. Eventually, I got fired, but I'm happy not to have that job anymore. They gave me far too much Hell.

    No...don't go to your boss first. Go first to the person your conflict is with and see if you can't resolve it. As to the camera, pay for it.

    Be direct and show no hate. Tell her what she's done wrong and if she won't admit to it THEN go to your boss.

      Are you kidding me?
      She gave her the camera, if she didn't want to take the risk she should have taken the pictures herself.
      Don't pay for the camera, stand up to her, be firm and don't be afraid of her.
      If you don't want to yell at her just tell her you think she is a bad person and you don't want any contact with her except for work.
