Is it normal to be sort of invisible?

Like I'll be sitting in the living room reading or whatever and my mom will come in and yell for me in some random direction of the house, and I'm like, "um, I'm right here.". Also, people tend to sit on me a lot of I'm sitting on a big bench with my friends. Is this normal, or am I some sort of ninja/superhero/freak?

i scare people but not on purpose like that. one time i sat next to somebody and after a minute they looked around, saw me, gasped and said "oh my god, you scared me!".

Yes, I think I am invisible sometimes too. I've had people cut in front of me in line at a store and then after they are done they turn around and see me and say "oh sorry I didn't see you" and I said "it's ok, I'm invisible, I get it all the time."
